The Hilton Waterfront is a prime location for a California beach wedding. Located between the Huntington Hyatt and the Huntington Beach Pier, it has easy access to the beach by just crossing Pacific Coast Highway. So check out the article below for Hilton Waterfront wedding photography examples!
Courtney and Paul had their whole wedding at the Hilton Waterfront, starting with preparation in their spacious suites, having the ceremony right on the sand on the beach, and then finishing with the reception in the Pacific Room. We had the joy of shooting Courtney and Paul’s engagement session in Laguna Beach and Irvine, getting to them as people and as a couple. So we were more than excited to shoot them on their special wedding day. Just take a look at the photos below!

Groom Getting Ready at the Hilton Waterfront
Here is our groom getting ready for the wedding day.
This was the view from his hotel room of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), with the long, sandy beach berm of Huntington Beach in the background.
Our Bride Getting Dressed
Our bride then hopped into her wedding dress.
And read a letter from her groom in a moment of privacy.
Formals Before the Wedding Ceremony
Our bride and groom weren’t going to see each other before the wedding ceremony on the sands of Huntington Beach, but we did some bridal party photos of just the girls together…
And just the groom and groomsmen together at the lobby water fountain.
Here was a cute candid photo during the photos.
Hilton Waterfront Wedding Ceremony on the Beach
They had their wedding right on the sands of Huntington Beach, with the wedding arch and chairs setup halfway between the Huntington Beach boardwalk and the waterline.
Here is a detail closeup of the wedding ceremony arch and the beautiful wedding floral arrangement.

Family Photos and Bridal Party Photos After the Ceremony
After the wedding ceremony, we did photos with the families (wedding formals) and wedding photos of the whole bridal party together.
Some Quick Wedding Photos on the Way Back
We did some quick wedding photography of the couple on the way back to the hotel, but we had to be quick about it to start the wedding reception dinner.

Wedding Photography at the Hilton Waterfront
We pulled our bride and groom out of their reception for Hilton Waterfront wedding photography during the sunset, out on the balcony.
This is our favorite wedding photo of the whole day at the Hilton Waterfront. We used the water fountain to frame the foreground of the image, with the soft blue and orange hues of the sunset in the background.

Huntington Beach Wedding Photography at the Hilton Waterfront
Definitely check out the rest of our blog for more examples of wedding photography at the Hilton Waterfront in Huntington Beach. You can also find more examples of our recent work on our Instagram account (@judyandgavin).
When looking through our blog, you’ll notice that we’ve done quite a bit of wedding photography in Huntington Beach, including the Huntington Beach Hyatt and the Hilton Waterfront. That experience matters on a wedding day. More importantly, we try to evolve our photography with each and every shoot, experimenting as we can. We love the art of capturing weddings and capturing the love we see between our couples.
Make sure that you choose a wedding photographer that cares about your wedding. This is a personal event and it helps having a professional that takes this task personally. We’ve been covering wedding events for over 15 years now, which speaks a lot in an industry with a high turnover rate. We have also seen many vendors do a disservice to our wedding couples, so please make sure to vet your vendors. This can be done with reviews or with word of mouth.
