Malibu Beach is home to some of the most scenic cliffs in Southern California. El Matador is one of our favorite spots in that area, since it gives a good variety of backdrops for amazing Malibu Beach engagement photos. Our couple wanted the beach and the city, so we extended the engagement portrait session into overtime to squeeze both in on one day.

Finishing the Engagement Photos in Downtown Los Angeles

We then hopped over to downtown Los Angeles to wrap up the session with some sleek and sexy night photos. We love this angle that shows off Grand Avenue from above.

The minimalist in us loves this type of lighting.

There are these large steps or staircase at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. It has the DWP building in the background and is awesome for engagement photos in downtown Los Angeles.
