Our lovely couple Sarah + Alex chose the LA Arboretum for their engagement photos. The Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Arcadia is a hidden treasure here in the San Gabriel Valley, offering many different biomes for photographic backgrounds. It truly is a treasure of Los Angeles County.
Starting with AMAZING yellow leaves
We started the session in front a large tree with tons and tons of yellow leaves, making for a once a year backdrop.
I love how our couple is completely engulfed by the yellow leaves. The LA Arboretum has some truly beautiful natural backdrops for engagement photography.
Strolling around for more LA Arboretum engagement photos
We took advantage of a gazebo structure for some more photos.
Engagement Photography in a Large Tree
Yeah, it sounds weird to sway your are in a tree, but one look at the photos and you can see why we are ‘inside” the tree. There are so many unique spots, making it a more cost-effective version of the Huntington Library for photography.
Peacock Photobomb!
And how cool is it to have a peacock photobomb our couple as we were walking out of the arboretum?
Bamboo Forest Engagement Photos at the LA Arboretum
We finished the session at one of several bamboo forests in the Los Angeles Arboretum. What a cool place where we can jump from one biome to the next, giving us a large variety of beautiful portraits in a small time.
