Our hometown is San Dimas, so we love love love any chance to photograph our favorite local spots. San Dimas is home to lots of trails, natural and rustic settings, and even a lake for sunset photos. So check out our day of San Dimas engagement photography with our fun and totally in love couple, Brittany and Zach.
Starting the engagement photos at a local park
We started the session at a local park. We like to use the first part of the engagement portrait session to ease the couple in, getting them used to the camera and getting into a flow.
And of course we have to get some photos with their dog, or fur baby.
Continuing the San Dimas Engagement Photography at a Field
We then hopped over to another local spot that has fields, hiking trails, and yellow flowers!
Gotta love it when our couples are cute and adorably in love.
From there we got more engagement photos with the sun backlighting through a tree.
An Open Field in San Dimas
We hopped over to a field to get the sun kissing the horizon on the local hills.
Finishing with Sunset Engagement Photos at Bonelli Lake
Bonelli Lake is a local spot that we do family hikes and lots of family sessions. We know lots of spots that we’ve scouted out over the many years we’ve been here.
As the sunset started to happen, we made sure to use the reflection of the sun on the water in the sunset engagement photos. It’s one of the best spots in the city of San Dimas to catch a sunset.
And we always love it when we have ducks in the background!
